Hi,

Do you think Bing imagery is better to position your area moves compared to using ESRI?

Is it bowls or is it bocce? Bocce is a valid sport to select.

What applies = "lit=yes: At night (unknown time schedule or daylight detection)!

Wrong. You're to enter the factual, on the grond local applicable data and not 'mi sembra'.

Actually someone did a set of 'fontanella' name erasing some months ago seemingly to make a point and then missed a few in the lat/lon block, a wide grin worth.
There's a website with almost all the drinkwater points in Italy and still every cycle tour I find 1 or more not mapped or invisible on the OSM based cyclers map, a few each week touring the country, I'll leave a map note and take a picture for the details, wheelchair, fee, bottle filling, potable. How many did you see with any of these feature tags?
BTW, Romans call them nasone. I've seen a few with that name tag too ;o)

Disappointed it was not retagged as an 'isolated dwelling' ;P

105155665 about 4 years ago

Kindly tag this tag-less node which I suspect is a social_facilty, but could not pinpoint what exactly they do, day_care, work_shop. The wiki gives the options: osm.wiki/Key:social_facility
TIA
PS When first seeing this alert, I added the building they seem to be in, if the node is correctly placed.

Ah, yes, the Osmose slap
"Double inner polygon
relation 11787853 analyser josm iD edit".

105217719 about 4 years ago

Kindly reverse your edit. You're the 5th or sixth sticking the foot in, now Osmose reports 'double polygon'. It was fine until your intervention.
(And as with Osmose, not everything JOSM says is, isn't).

TIA

hi,

If you add the general access=yes to footways you are tagging to give general access to all and everything, horses incl. A footway is assumed to be accessible for foot traffic ;o) (The same problem applies to steps and the warning arises of 'overly permissive' if you do.

GM,

Just some background, the location=surface comes from StreetComplete asking 'is building entirely underground?", to which the answer is No (moi did that). SC is far from complete, it should have removed the layer=-1 tag. This initiates a grey pin alert in Osmose of which I've fixed probably many hundreds, building gaps, intersections, duplicate nodes. What SC did is creating stalemate and the resultant 'flat' rendering depending on the renderer's software.
Origin: Most very probably there was an alert at creation of the building and the question being asked "is this higher or lower" during the saving phase, buildings or highways. Ignore would have too create a grey pin on the map but one gets tallied for ignores ;o)
Only because you checked the 3D rendering did this problem come to surface.

cheers

Hi, the layer=-1 has to go. Check if a path is crossing the building. Historically it is likely that happened.

Ciao, from Passo San leonardo

Hi pippo

Please take note of this change set.

osm.org/changeset/105092470

When adding parkings one has to either map a route or tag parking=street_side. This makes the amenity accessible for routing.

Of course we use this 'escape' tag judiciously...only use when really street side.

cheers

Just me hinting at mapping a best guess construction=building area. Periodically StreetComplete will pop up a query, 'Is this building complete?' From Raffaelle it shows another concrete monster.

hi there

The amazing world of online imagery... your former pitch was a building construction site as at nov-2020. This prefab could be ready by now. There's also a tennis pitch west part of the school grounds. Maybe that fell victim too.

ciao ciao.

Hi,

Please note: The street lighting in large if not all parts of Pescara are AUTOMATIC (predominantly LED type) and driven by how bright daylight is i.e. on dark clouded days they can come on hours earlier and stay on later in the morning. Summation: Your lit=sunset-sunrise is dubious.

Hey Gianni. What's the source of your cycle track mappings? Please add origin i.e. source=survey, trace whatever, and be careful, don't connect to powerlines. ;o).

90858735 about 4 years ago

High, there's this cable you seem to be knowledgeable about. A mapper connected it to a cycle track, so I disconnected and removed the none power node from the line after which the focus jump to a 80 degree turn in the line and noticed there's no tower tag. Is this line which leads into the sea underground? Please confirm. Since it's towerless at all turns I've attached layer= -1 i.e. moved it underground.
Let me know

Hi

your change set create warnings:crossing_ways:building-highway 2
warnings:crossing_ways:highway-highway 7

Already I repaired half a dozen, mainly this is because you connected cycle path with power lines.
Kindly make sure if you draw lines, to only connect them to the correct way... highway, highway, building, building etc etc.
TIA
