Hi,

You linked a line from a far separate grassland to another causing the render to go white. Duly fixed, I think (therefore I am ;o)

Hi,

piccolo correzioni is certainly for the ID 7631131 incorrect as flagged by OSM Inspector. The outline ways our outer, not inner, not 360 degrees enveloped by a bigger area. 3/4 of that land is BTW not farmland but orchard and wood. I've added to clear orchard parts in.

Hi Andrew

Don't know why you left the park outline unclosed/unfinished but OSM Inspector flagged. Fixed in Change set #118547691

Hi

What is this 'broken' multipolygon supposed to respresent with only access=no tag and the rendering of the wood having disappeared?. Was it meant to be natural=wood + access=no?

cheers

His Astraspera

You mapped this meadow osm.org/relation/13920193 in the forest monstrosity of 1798 members (as of yesterday). The forest role on this shows outer when it has to be inner.
NB There's a fixme note on this "the outline of the forest is more detailed" like it needs more definition. Not touching it with a long pole, the fixme to me belongs in the cestino or better be: Excessively high member count multipolygon. Needs splitting! My computer times out on this wood's history, so cant see who left that note and when.

ciao e bella mappaturisma :O)))

PS The biggest forest I've seen is over 4000 members. Can only shake head and walk away from that. Over 1900 OSM starts warning, over 2000 it's no go, officially.

Whatever the problem is, observed this morning, and your investigation now having put me in the know of those hashtag meanings, a fresh edit set using hotosm with 2.20.1 in the references.

Hi,

Just wrote a bug report on Github. As above shows, there are 21 more warnings, but no such warnings during save-preparation. As you can see on your 'Neis Report' https://hdyc.neis-one.org/?astraspera, no warning still translate to the 'ignored warning' tally shooting up. You're now past 1000.

Hi,

You actually achieved for the whole island to show as forest and the small forest area as blank, double tagging both scrub and forest on the same MP with duplicate segments. I've now split it as intended with CS osm.org/changeset/118392368.
NB To me a very large area of scrub is more like grassland. Also, is that 'managed' forest or natural wood?

Hi,

You 'Varie' completely broke the residential area of Grotto di Castro!
Just so you know. The warnings are listed above. Kindly fix.

Then s/he needs a wakeup call by the DWG (Data Work Group for those who dont know). The last one did receive their PM jolt, him claiming hé never received those CS comments from fellow mappers. Happened to be a JOSM user too.

Hi,

If you post change sets we do care about -proper comments- as to what you did and also connecting ways where they crosss other roads and tram rail. Just mapped 3 dozen of them flagged by Osmose.
No comment is no good.

Whoopy, the VL bare rock rendering has been restored. Some area boundaries are not perfectly overlaying resulting in white spaces. Left for whoever whishes to do these loose ends.

118322828 over 3 years ago

Seem to have missed at least 3 more close node vertices, affected area too big the catch them in 1 go. ID Editor is just not good at large area tracking (complx areas are not fully downloaded into the edit buffer).

Hi again.

Since the bare rock was shown open this morning I've attacked the issues

1) Removed half dozen double mapped and high density node outlines, merged many close nodes.
2) Resolved an issue on large scree which had a dead end SE.
3) looked at the large scree MP. There's a substantial area SW that's very green in newest of all ESRI (not clarity which is OLD). No color distortion/aritfact from shading as it shows fresh white scree in it (not snow.)
Doublessly I'll get the bill presented tomorrow as I'm sure to not have caught all the hiding issues. Most important, momentarily not getting any 'ring not closed' warnings.

The high density lines seem to be 7 years old, time to clean them up.

ciao.

Oddly the change set uses version 2.20.2 when we're on 2.20.4 suggesting a stale browser application cache.

Hi, I'm reasobly sure those are either automaten trace, import or someone who likes mapping in max zoom. Ridiculous is the word. Rendermachines take care of roundness. One does not need 50 nodes on a roundabout, 28-32 suffice. It's great for scoring rank as the number of nodes create is the measure. The window on Inspector closes at 8am and 8 PM. If you closed the ring the bare rock issue will no longer show at 22:30, rendering will be within minutes.

Hi Marco

Your umap link seems the same as before but noticed now fuel pump icon on the pins. Many thanks for that. See at least 3 stations missing on just one cycle route. Ludicrously poor data quality at the Ministero dello 'Sviluppo' E. Had not realized there's serious blank zones in the region. With 2.12 per liter just going to a station and back costs 5 Euro /o\

There's a catch on API/IP. The brand is IP but the wizard insists it's Api-Ip. Then when you change it to that 8 days later Osmose QA complains it should be IP and on and on, so I hit false positive.

Ciao

PS Done another 26 buildings at top side of Via Di Sotto. At the speed of 7 days that road and Scorrano should be buildings complete by Pasqua ;P).

Hi,

This bare rock zone osm.org/relation/4058725 has an unclosed state at the top stopping rendering and 40x2 even close vertices, as if a line was pasted on or imported over the outline. I fixed the open ring, but then reversed as I don't know the why of these close node vertices making it impossible for me to save the edit and 'ignore' I will absolute not touch You already fixed 87 of them so I guess you know what's on.

Hi Marco,
Just curious, is there some MISE challenge going? Low and behold another one arrived and hit on one of the stations in the same area. Before and after are same tags and values. Personally, unless one knows the area, local knowledge, one should consult the local who last edited the item when there's an issue. One guy always consults me on local conflict issues.
The mentioned Q8 has no pin in your report, neither Coppa, yet they're in full swing. The Q8 was another brand before that and shut for about a year, before I took up mapping actively, and when reopened had a 'nuove gestione' in the window, but 1.5 years not showing up in the register is beyond me. Even the Q8 website makes mention of the location so the tax man must be throuroughly asleep or it's an accepted fact that multiple stations can run on the same license which is certainly the case with the 2 of NTC.

Anyway, I've long unticked the gas station boxes on Osmose, but, if someone makes a change and a tag is wrong/missing all those who touched the object get it listed in their Osmose report. Yours: https://osmose.openstreetmap.fr/en/byuser/MarcoR a good 2000 level 1/2/3 . I work my list down daily. 5 are irreperable. Everytime I fix them the 'owner' just reverses them (lines without any tags), so I let them be until I get tired of this and take it up with the DataWorkGroup (DWG). That location alone has thousands of issues and everyone in OSM seems to be okay with that which gives me to think at times how earnest they really are about data QA.

ciao
Rob
