You tagged this road 2 years ago as SS614, but ANAS and wiki have this road not start until the junction where the wolf cries to Passo Lanciano, 10km long. Was about to create a route relation, then saw it's 10km long, when Scafa to PL is about 25. Got a reference link for me to affix to the relation and get the proper from/to info in?

In my mind there's no doubt that hikers/mtb runners are conscientious mappers (most all mappers are), not questioning the accuracy of the numbers and the meaning. Now contributor(s) put information in which has now been gone. At the very least I'd have stored it in the note or description field. When then the next mapper comes around s/he's got a cross reference on hand... check, check, check.

SC tells the user to 'complete' where they are 'surveying', not where they were during the last vacation ;o). The nature of the beast is that it will come all edits of the same type consecutively i.e. surface and surface and surface. Set to auto save and map varying things and chances are things get split. When I use it I force reporting while on the move and even then same items get combined causing boxes villages apart. SC does so, level 0 editor does so too, so just don't is the advise and many will thank you who're only interested to see a history list end edit boxes that are relevant to their area.

Just wondering, why not move the numbers which were on the name field onto the ref field, which the wiki does ref-erence? The sample of ref=111 denotes you can have 111A, B, C etc.

OK, so from the municipio location at that spot we can derive the street/square in front is named Piazza Umberto I. One more blank filled ;O

PS I've removed the name from the residential area as else the chance exists the name would render twice on the map. Not good. why the name appeared in the different spot before is unclear but you got the node back in the exact spot where it was before. All is zen again.

Ah yes, was just reading about that in the wiki and wanting to reverse my overhasty action Curiously the node is now in a different place than it was before. Where is this 'admin_centre' location recorded?

What's puzzling is touching an interpolated address line, and now one appearing diagonally [no history] across a build up area. Always thought these lines go along a street/road edge. Have never mapped any other way either.

Better this way... Both change set boxes are identical and both will disappear almost same time. Now everyone who saw it and sees it not getting it knows playground stuff is not accepted and gets vertical archive treatment, swiftly.

In fact, all 17 ways are triangles, 8 in Seattle and 8 more in the ME plus each a single line and no tags. AFAIC strong candidate for deletion/reversal.

No idea what or why Seattle and the ME in \1 change set, the very first test on 6 ways, identical location, top of each other osm.org/way/972003530 just is a drawn triangle line without any tags at all. Can you explain please.

If you're interested in knowing about and fixing issues --you're associated with--, 237 change sets you created and 707 related problems at the moment, you may want to look at this report: https://hdyc.neis-one.org/?gianluca%20nigozza .

If another mapper makes changes causing a problem on items I touched before I get them also listed on my report, which is why I got on this broken continuity case. I try to clear them all daily, with a few I leave by exception.

All problems have an answer, easily researched in the OSM database as how to tag them correctly or help you in the right direction.

Plz see all the warnings your change set created by dragging highway nodes around while adding/placing fire hydrants. "warnings:crossing_ways:highway-highway" 9x. If you get stuck, use the reverse button right top and do it again. No good saving work when you know it caused issues causing others having the fix the problems.

NB: You'll have to check if the hydrant I dislodged are in the right place.

It could be me but if these bound boxes had some logic to draw the smallest possible one we would not see half of them. US/Canada to SE Asia is a popular combination, lord knows why. The much smaller box would have been Japan to US, more than half would have been on the Pacific at that.

One last time, please be aware you broke a lot of route continuities around town with your 'come la wiki' so I went ahead and fixed the whole shabang. How did you decide e.g. that the tunnel from Ferrari to the east side of the station is residential, how did the east side street become residential? Next time, discuss first before doing things like this on a town wide scale.

Following your other CS 'Cambio highway come', notably, the SS16 which moves thru town connecting Silvi, Sant'Angelo, Montesilvana, Pescara, Francavilla is all SS16 therefore it should be restored to the primary tag.

Are you sure you know what you're doing? E.g. a street at the station where no one lives is tertiary, then you change it to residential and you change it back to tertiary and that was only randomly looking at 1 change Should we be reviewing this whole change set?
