Changeset When Comment
113301919 almost 4 years ago

You made a change in Prague per your comment but did not mention you also made a change in Palma de Mallorca. No idea how one does that, so the question is, why would that happen, but half of Europe now has this showing in the resent change set history.

NB The mapped stream ending in the artificial pond continues en route and connecting too to the Alento, bending south following the scrub filled valley line.

Fatto (and touching it was a mistake as a number of problems surfaced on the park west side including tagless lines)

"Correction de sorties d’autoroute en France"

Sortie a Madagascar? That's a really really long route. ;O)

Kindly write what you do and do what you write, not more, not less in a single change set please. This should have been split in 2.

Hi,

It would be nice if you wrote a bit more than the (shouting) capitals "MODIFICA RELAZIONI" and made it like e.g. 'Modifica relazione trace D1'... then everyone knows what the relation and work was about without having to open the change set.

Question: There's a track named 'Da Serra a Passo Lanciano' but it changes half way to 'Serramonacesca Passo Lanciano'. Could this be made a uniform name, the former Da Serra a..." seems to be the correct/better designation. This link makes a reference to the track .... a Passo Lanciano https://www.parcomajella.it/d1-da-incrocio-sentiero-spirito-d2-serramonacesca-a-passo-lanciano.htm

And some ridges in the landscape too slim to map bare rock around it.

Hi, concur, the tag is on a way, rather than on the side where it really is, but thought to put the 2 together. Plz make the change. I believe there's shark teeth there too, but could misremember, so road_marking=give_way could be added too. As the traffic signal direction is in place, we know which way they're facing

Cheers and thx for setting me right.

outer scrub that is :O)))

Hi,

You closed the polygon, great, you changed the tag value from forest to wood w/o telling in your comment, not great! You did not add the 'inner' role tag as the area is inside the big grassland zone same as the other wood pockets were nearby. Lapse. As is a popular word amongst mappers around here: Fixed!

Your ever eyes wide open trying co-mapper ,o)

Thank you for contributing and tell every other mapper between San Francisco and Calcutta. They appreciate everyone keeps their edit sets local. Makes review lots easier by others... trust is good, blue eyes or not, verification is better.

cheers from Italy.

Hi,

Changed the actual name as per your comment from S.Maria to Santa Maria. OSM likes not using abbreviations.ù

cheers

PS Pure coincidence I saw this... I'm mapping all the area landcover on the Majella momentarily.

Which tag exactly?

In the quick remember cycle traffic lights and yield sign (in case the lights are off). Often see a false positive on the traffic_signals direction. KeepRight signals no problems, neither Osmose. Which QA prog give the warning?

Let me know the specific one and I'll recheck.

Hi,

The correct spelling per www is Lago Dell'Orso (bear's den or something) and on the hiking calendar.

Incl. attempt at mapping out some of the many cliffs in the zone.

Note and funny, Bing street side maps has a copy right bottom right of Openstreetmap and TomTom. Hardly gains anything in information for mapping.

PS The turn restriction simulator does show it correctly in both directions with or without the U turn restriction. A red arrow for a sharp corner in both directions, blue for straight i.e the only straight are correctly mapped. Not impossible the CAR OSRM has a bug.

112799207 almost 4 years ago

Funny, the CAR OSRM continues to route incorrectly with the no u turn added, G > P, but CAR Graphhopper does it correct in both directions, via the shortcut. The bike option still tries to let you climb via the Scaletta di Ferro, a neck breaking enterprise albeit I've seen MTB come down the stairs at the fontanella in full protective gear. My cycle program in tourbike mode happily sends me up the stairs, no indicator that a section has to be done on foot, so every time I pass the point going to Balzolo they get a full thumbs down. Supposedly the program learns from recorded trips but not on this one.

cheers.

112782496 almost 4 years ago

PS Just tested, it completely ignores the no-left turn coming from Guardiagrele to PennaP, it should have taken the shortcut. From PennaP to GuardiaGrele it takes the shortcut, but that did it last night too. You might want to try with No-U-turn, just for testing. No to stay. Maybe there's a delay in the test system getting to learn but it ignoring the only-straight would suggest so.

Hi,

"for better route calculation"... just to be sure, we don't map what we'd like it to be, rather we map what the signs tell us and the lines on the road (yeah right that part is mostly in our dreams). Think the U turn rule is not indicated and superfluous as routing should already happen via the turn way just before and the only straight already prohibits the u-turn.
