Hi,

Is there any intelligent reason why we have here osm.org/way/755551206/history 2 secondary roads mapped on top of each other one cycleway=lane, the other cycleway=both=tack, one with bus route roles attached to it and the other with several admin boundaries. It's persisted for long and think it deserved to be cleaned up of the double road tags and removed from the one that acts as boundary carrier and tagged it proper as boundary=administrative and be done with the surely ignored duplicate edge warnings the many grey nodes will have been loitering here.

cheers

PS, done only the Viale Castro Pretorio street on which the ENI station is you mapped, lots more beyond, added roof and fuel types + source tags to station. Osmose is good at providing those details when flagged. :O)). connected several open ended sidewalks on the go while happening to be there anyway.

Hi,

I wrote to another flixbus route mapper about a month ago concerning the roundabout at Chieti Scalo station. Still routing illegally there. Buses exiting the station going southbound onto the SS5 (SR5 ref is wrong since always) are obliged to loop the roundabout first, they're not allowed to take an immediate right or make use of the shortcut. The bus exit sign is unambiguous on that. The sation arrivial way I could move without messing with the order but for departure did not change it the right way after updating and adding the roundabout bypasses as then I would have messed up the routing order no doubt. The municipal cops sit there regularly in their car ready with their ticket book.

The situation is similar over at Ortona train station. Buses arriving descending from Via del Porto have to first loop the roundabout as the direct turn is too narrow.

cheers

4 More photographed alleys the Navigator GPS got mangled on in narrow Via del Borgo i.e. can not place them correctly other then by time stamp order and knowing they are on south side of said narrow way, resident vehicles only.

Discesa Sant'Antonio
Vicolo Ferranti (dog walker told she lived here)
Vicolo Farini
Vicolo Eleuteri

All named per corner wall signs.

This is nonsense and duly removed. If it has no name you use the 'has no name' option in street complete.

Hi,

Should this 'no_right_turn' (road works still on) not have a bus exception(?) since all the bus routes that were/are broken here (dozens) are routed to take a right turn onto the Piazzale della Stazione Rebibbia. I've fixed 9 routes so far and assume except=bus i.e. yes on the turn restriction which I suspect is yes. That said, since the bus ways are by themselves restricted from use by other wheel traffic, the rule is to me redundant as the service road is tagged access=no + service=bus

Please let me know what this turn restrictions purpose is, temp or permanent (and bound to be forgotten). Mapping a construction area on the bus station affected zone would work with a check date and completion due date. QA will throw queries when still not cleared.

OK, restored rendering

Hi,

If the route is one-way to Foggia you might want to guide at the rotarie and junctions 'with' the flow instead of contra e.g. at the point where you switch from Via Val di Foro to Via Foro at the SS263. At some places you need to cut the roads at junction on/off connection points else you get funny excursions, like one showing a hard left than after 100 meters a u-turn. Also, if on foot things are fine, if on biki you might encounter points where per the continuous white centre line you're not allowed to do a U-Turn. Pericoloso.
Anyway, you can use the router of ID Editor to test if what you mapped on short sections is legal to include the consideration of some contadini being real funny if you cross their tracks when at the main road it says 'strada privata'. So far though by far the most are all friendly, where I've gone into the wild in MTB mode.

cheers

PS Vaguely remember you wrote in past you did that trip 5x or so, i.e. you'll know where the wild turkeys area ;o)

Hi,

Interesting route. As of this moment I see gaps in L'Aquila, Arielle and Lanciano. Suppose this is still very WIP.

Curious, you entered a 'from' in the relation, is there a 'To' too?

Happy routing.

Hi,

Your challenge went bust. The building does not show on the map because you left it with a self intersection. I've fixed it for you. ALWAYS verify if something shows up on the map a few minutes after saving. If not, check why that might be.

Heath renders, but why the farmland has a role with the heath when it nowhere borders directly I do not know.

Lets try again: You don't delete ways that had been freshly mapped and tagged from survey, tags you did not port to the new way. You could have changed the designation and wiggled the nodes, retaining the history.

You deleted the way mapped the week before after survey. It included tagging with stop spot at the bottom end and other tags, the top half still fenced off.. Where did those feature tags go?

NOT DONE.

Not only that, you deleted the parking way I mapped at Mulino and than put a new one in place. Impressionante.

Lol, I've working on Spoltore for days and who pops up.

Thank you.

In web browsers on Windows F5 is refresh page view from cache (in ID editor History view here). Ctrl+F5 is the forced refetch of the data from the (OSM) website, refreshing the cache itself at the same time.

Hi, your "Inserimento elementi rilevati il 20/05/22"resulted in you breaking the forest outline with complete loss of rendering on all maps.

When you edit large areas, check back few minutes after saving in view mode and hit Ctrl+F5. If things keep showing you're fine. If things start disappearing in blocks or whole, something is wrong. Time to open the editor to find the reason.

Hi,

Per my previous comments, point 1), connections is a MUST.

On converting, yes, you can cut an already mapped way at chosen points and relabel to track and change the paving.

When tagging as track, the preferred is to select the grading in the wizard dropdown box. No need to specify the specific surface, in fact Osmose QA flags a combo of grading and surface as conflicting.
What looks like a track to a house can still be left as service road or driveway, in which case you use the surface qualifier, many options in the drop down list to include your dirt or the more general 'compacted' which says more about the expected driving experience.

However wrong it my be in your view, I've added this one and several others sections to the Aurelian wall relation. There are more parts that for whatever reason were never added to the relation on my inventory list. When the time comes I'll convert the 'site' relation to a 'proper' one. These walls haven't budged for 2000 years so it is not in any hurry. ;o)
