"resave"

Ok, I just did a HUGE edit and tried to save it several times. The first time I gave it a real description: I attempted to show that highway 1604 is now a divided highway between Culebra and highway 90. The save failed, and I tried a few more times. I *think* it saved. I hope so. That was a lot of work...

You can check by looking at the Data layer on the main map using the little blue + in the top right corner.

It's always a good idea to upload changes during edits once in a while. Just because there's always something that could go wrong at upload. So my personal rule is, to upload right before I will be to unmotivated to do the work, that I would loose, again, which actually means about every three to five minutes. So my Uploads won't get "huge"...

Looks like my changes saved. Yay! I just looked it over, and I see a lot of areas for improvement. Little things like intersections not being quite right, but bigger things, like roads that were build a few years ago not shown on the map, and access roads to the Culebra shopping area.

This all started because I just wanted to put the traffic lights by my house onto the map and realized 1604 was wrong. Guess I have lots more to do if I get bored/motivated again.

And what the heck is up with the 1604/90 interchange?

Hi Seth,
just check it on osm.org/user/Seth%20K/edits
there you can see all your edit sessions and might find out if it has been saved properly.

Happy mapping!
