I am only for a short visit here in Baños and I have two questions:
When I want to find the way to termas el salado from the city center it directs me over the street luiz martinez and then over the river: THERE IS NO STREET at all, unpossible to cross. How can I change this?
Second: There are soo many places not on the map, who could do a propper update?

To delete a street from the map that doesn’t exist you can log in to OSM on a desktop and select the Edit tab on the top. If there is nothing at all there you can select the wrong road, right-click and and choose delete (bin). If there’s a road or path you can’t use you can select the road and change the mapping or the access. If you select too much you can divide the road with the split way (scissors) command.

On the map there is NO road at all, so I cannnot delete anything. But the routing (I don’t know how to say that in English) is wrong. So when I say Destination “termas el salado” and say find direction to there, map.me will show me a path over a valley and a river…but you cannot pass there. So the problem is made by map.me and not openstreetmap.

Hey Shakemasta,
Maps.me looks for a route to the closest road to termas el salado. That used to be the road across the river. Because of your additions and changes to the map the termas el salado is now closer to the other, correct, road. After a map update by Maps.me (approximately 1 month) Maps.me will find the correct route. You just fixed the problem for all OpenStreetMap users including Maps.me users.

Thank you Agross for your answer. Maps.me made the mistake before I made the additions to the termas. I cannot imagine how there would have been an access from the west side to the termas: at least 50m of Elevation is missing to the next street. Anyway, I hope in one month it will look different.
