Why does Urbo.ro uses OSM?
Urbo.ro is a location-based, community oriented business directory in Romania. When developing Urbo.ro, there was a choice to be made on what mapping service to use. The map is an important feature of the site and therefore the choice on map providers was critical. The considerations in choosing a mapping provider were as follows:
• Mapping coverage of Romania;
• Accuracy of the street data;
• Ability to contribute and correct the data.

Great, but what is Urbo.ro? a location based, community oriented business? I'm hoping (but I don't think) they also give geo info back to OSM (or put them in a free license format). Is this true or not?
In any way, it's great businesses are using OSM as a real map provider and they don't just think of it as a game.

Hi. Urbo.ro is a Romanian business directory from major cities in Romania. It's vital for users to actually find a business where we say it is, so we combine OSM with mapping done by real people, on field. It's true that the geo info is in a free license format. OSM has been a big help for us when starting the site and this is why the company is syndicating this article above; to let everyone know how helpful OSM was for us and also to raise awareness for other Romanian sites.

Well, if they publish there data in a free format, it's even better than I expected. I really need to start trusting businesses.
Although I'll probably never come to Romania, thank you Urbo.ro. (and thanks to you SilviaM for showing me this)
