There is a foot passenger only ferry from Tala Bay, Aqaba (JO) to Taba Heights, Taba (EG)

There is an abandoned railway bridge crossing over the road here. Single track.

This railway continues all the way to Qena. It is clearly visible in satellite imagery, and from the Qena-Safaga highway for part of it's length. Current status unknown but confirmed active in 2010 and no reports of a shutdown since. Freight only, mainly carries phosphate export trains.
