I think this is pretty much done. No more will be done on this side of town until the autumn. Next stop is Cwmfelin unless someone gets there before me!

Hmm - it's been quite a while since I last wrote a diary entry. Things have moved on. The city centre (of Swansea) is done as far as I can tell. I've updated more of the "metro" bus lanes as they appear. I've had reason to divert slightly around the Mayhill area of town and have *finally* mapped it, despite the city council's best efforts to block all the through-routes with barricades.
OSM beats all the other maps that I've compared with on correctness of street-connectivity in that area now. However, I'd appreciate efforts by people who live a bit closer to nail down more of the street names. There are a lot of missing name-signs on the streets of Mayhill.
I've just taken a first hack at the afore-mentioned city centre, but my GPS tracks were pretty rough due to poor signal.
Most of the roads are there, but none of the pedestrianisation has been marked up yet, so don't just assume you can drive those 'unclassified' streets!
Have fixed up the mapping for the section of A473 east of Bridgend, S.Wales. The original version was completely missing a roundabout and (mysteriously) was dotted with a lot of unlabelled "points" of data.
The rest of the road to the north-east towards Llantrisant is currently missing though.
Well, I've just about completed these twin villages, except for a few footpaths to be filled in as the winter draws on and the tree cover goes down (can't get a decent GPS signal under them yet).
Having problems deciding when to call a road "residential" and when to switch to "tertiary". Not helped by the map rendering the two types quite differently which makes the resulting roads rather ugly.
