Difficult, since some may not even be able to select the entrance not, not to mention to see the description field.

Thx. And thx for your help regarding the automated edits last year 👍😉

Wasn't me who named it, I just adjusted it. ;-)

Since Osmand (and probably otherapps) always only displays either restaurant or accommodation (whatever they consider first), I was trying to make sure people understand that it is both.

This is not an official camp site. Camping is not legal anywhere in Lancarote except for official places.

But I camped there and considered it acceptable.

As I wrote, my updates were based on notes left by other users. Whom to trust if not them? Thanks for the update.

Did you also check the other tap that is just a few meters away, or is that a duplicate?

True, but when making edits people are generally offline in the middle of nowhere. Also, when uploading changes, I will need some manual extra time to adjust the whole changeset. You can only ask people to invest so much time, since it is voluntarily. These rules do not fit great with the way people add changes. Sorry.

Why cannot it not be an archaeological site and walkway at the same time? Never heard of this restriction.

Also, interestingly you are allowed to call them "hidden paths", but when it comes to other people you withhold that definition/classification from them?

A ford is a underwater crossing as well. People getting wet feet. Still you wouldn't hide this fact from the map, would you?

Please reconsider and help people appreciate this site.

These are hidden pedestrian coblestone tracks used in the past and they are still there and used by tourists. Why again would we not classify them as highway=pedestrian???

Sorry ... no plans to go there. I chill in Göreme. ;-)

As I have already told you before, it is a wild camp site. A camp site does not necessarily have to be official or managed, it can just be a good spot for camping in alternative to managed official ones. There are hundred sites like this all over Germany and thousands around the world, e.g. along trekking routes.

It is important for people to have such option and to know where they can put up their tent, e.g. last minute. Of course wild camping is always a discussion Germany, but it was not prohibited there specifically. Please, do not remove this side, otherwise you also need to remove equivalent ones all over the rest of Germany. You can mark it "inofficial" or "wild", I reckon there are enough flags on OSM to mark it properly.

Many thanks ...

Hi there

We stayed there two weeks ago. It is a wild camp site. A camp site does not necessarily have to be official or managed, it can just be a good spot for camping in alternative to managed oficial ones. There are hundred sites like this all over Germany and thousands around the world, e.g. along trekking routes.

Cheers

The bus_stop definition however is something where a bus arrives and continues further. Also, this certainly differs from other bus_stops of these companies along the way where they go, because it is where the bus takes off. It is not just a simple bus stop, it is the terminal of the bus companies that go to these destinations.

There is actually several companies taking off from these points. So, it can be considered a terminal. Just because the terminal building is missing, doesn't mean it cannot be called a terminal.

Last but not least the whole area here (Cemetario) is declared in many travel guide books as a bus terminal. Hence, it is helpful if people actually find something "terminal" here.

The tagging as bus_stop in addition just points out the mixed nature of these places.

I understand, but this is not about the local communities, it is about the people that use OSM. If you want to give them a false impression of what the road is like, sure, go ahead and tag as trunk. But it is clearly less then this. This does certainly not increase the trustworthiness of OSM. But you never thought about that, did you?

Sure, but it was misleading in that is pretends that you can use Linea D to get to Plaza de Mayo. Please feel free to correct it such that it is obvious to users that passenger access stops at Cathedral. Thanks in advance.
