I've noticed that address points are missing from the data. Is there a planned Geocoding project for roads?

There is address data starting to be added to the project. Take a look at my area for instance: osm.org/?lat=50.889264&lon=-1.372285&zoom=18&layers=M

You might use the OMS inspector to check out where adresses are already:
