Yes, the features have and DO exist.

Minnesota Composite Imagery can show some grades unlike other imagery. I have found it helpful as it is leaf-off.

There are noticeable traces visible. Such as grade separation from removal of the railroad grade which indicates there was once railroads there and is recognized. Some of them are covered up as well.

Not only are you removing completely accurate information, but you are also WRONG! These tracks have been built, if you would just switch your imagery to USGS topography you would see that there was once track in the areas you removed. An abandoned railway is quite literally railway that has been removed. There are very obvious traces and visible grade separation on all imagery. Do better!
