Changeset When Comment

You can see the difference here bewteen the two tagging schemes: osm.org/relation/1206243#map=17/50.75173/5.68788
So I'm not sure sure it's necessary to revert the changeset, just to change the tags.

As we can see in the box on the right, the rendering of waterway=riverbank is gray: osm.wiki/File:Rendering-waterway-riverbank.png
It makes sense when there's only a little water at the center of the river bed, but not in this case, so natural=water + water=river seems better.

It seems it's just because of the tag waterway=riverbank instead of natural=water + water=river osm.wiki/Tag:waterway%3Driverbank

Something seems wrong with this changeset: the Meuse looks silted now.

Thanks, that's really useful!

By the way, I'd be interested to know how you stumbled across this changeset if not through the Telephone talk page.
I find the History "tab" useless because of large area edits polluting it (a known - major in my opinion - issue that doesn't seem close to getting fixed), so I don't know how to find deleted elements.

Hi Mitgard,
Thank you for your message.
Like others, I don't agree with the message of woodpeck, for me keeping known wrong data doesn't add to osm, it just wastes time for others contributors.
About that telephone you link, I'm pretty sure it was added by someone using Google Streetview, because it was a Belgacom telephone in 2010: https://goo.gl/maps/NehEoY2cH572
However, a few of them may actually be legitimate, so I think I'll just add a fixme tag requesting to check if those telephone booths still exist.
And there's actually a second changeset (although smaller): osm.wiki/Talk:Tag:amenity%3Dtelephone#Removing_public_telephones_in_Belgium
Best regards,
The RedBurn

Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that you can use SPW(allonie) PICC numerical imagery in JOSM to get buildings and their numbers. ;-)

Happy mapping!

Salut Tony,

Thanks! I've added it.

Indeed, but that's an illusion. It actually stops quite abruptly sooner that what I mapped, so I corrected it just now. I'm not even sure how to connect it to the Quai Banning.
You can see its end there: https://www.google.be/maps/@50.6156303,5.5773467,3a,75y,109.56h,60.81t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1swQmOVKbuM_18fkGq1plN6g!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=fr

Hi,
That was an error, I meant to change it to footway, which I did in osm.org/changeset/35689855
However, I had forgotten a part near Quai Banning. I just fixed it now, so it's a good thing you asked me!

26639304 over 10 years ago

I'm really sorry about that, I didn't notice there were relations on those ways.
Were you able to fix them?
