There is a (seemingly new) gate in this location. At the time I was there it was locked with a combination padlock. I'm not sure whether this gate is usually locked. For the time being I've mapped the gate with permissive access. The access here should be checked. Traveling along the road from the western side there are no signs indicating walking or cycling is prohibited or that you're coming to an obstruction. If you're not able to overcome this obstruction from the western side, you have to take quite a detour.

Monitor whether land owner issues get resolved here. The owner sometimes obstructs the path. See also https://pefferywayassociation.scot.

It's possible roads in this area are (no longer) mapped accurately. I drove a car here recently, and OSMAnd tried to navigate me onto a cycle path. It looked like some of the roads have recently been repaved, so perhaps there have been layout changes.
