So it looks like the GPX importer process got stuck about 8 hours ago. Or is there some weekly maintenance window or something? Either way, guess I won't be able to process the trace of the new section of town I mapped on my bike today :(

Indeed. I'm impatient to map what I walked today, and there are 20 pages of pending tracklogs before mine.

Using JOSM you don't have to wait until the gpx files are imported ;-)

Nor in Potlatch - just click on the Edit link next to the track in the listing. This works even while the track is still "PENDING".
