Thanks. I've added the wikidata tag osm.org/changeset/102828058 . I may update the wikidata page but got daunted first time around!

P.S. I thought you knocked the conversation about level of mapping detail on talk-gb into a cocked hat :)

Thanks very much Mike. The sign certainly exists: https://postimg.cc/PvZVpzXY The arrow, and its position on the path side of the wall, has me think that it isn't referring to the road at the back of Belle Vue Terrace. See also https://postimg.cc/5HrM8gVR

So, I think change what is currently called Green Terrace to be an unnamed highway=service, service=alley; name the path and the building outline.

You ask a good question about Belle Vue Terrace. I had been thinking that because the road was at the front of the houses it was okay as a highway=residential, but now I look again, it's more like a parking area to the side of the highway=service that runs to the mechanics yard at the back of the theatre: https://postimg.cc/Q9WZm7Nx
Here's the road that continues on to the mechanic's yard https://postimg.cc/t1Jj1fL6
and here's some bollards near the entrance from The Green https://postimg.cc/pmqvLx1x

Looking on the web, the addresses for those businesses are given as Unit #, Belle Vue Terrace, so it seems it would be legitimate to move it to be the road that goes into that yard, either as a highway=service or a highway=residential?

Hi RobJN
I don't know enough about wikidata so thought you might help. Guiseley library moved a couple of years ago from where it was placed osm.org/node/1738841552. I wasn't sure if the wikidata tag (Q42892204) should go on the newly placed version osm.org/node/8618816670 or if it needs some new wikidata tag? Thanks

Hi Mike
One of the early changesets, pre-50k! I think Green Terrace osm.org/way/4594951 could do with changing, although I'm not sure how exactly. As I see it this is a back alley for the houses of Belle Vue Terrace. I've just added the path for the houses of Green Terrace osm.org/way/929335471 which is walled off from the road. Should I name the footway Green Terrace and change the road to be an unnamed alley? Personally, I don't like naming footpaths after what I see as the name of houses but I can appreciate it's helpful!

I think osm.org/node/5475771237/history#map=19/53.87157/-1.70725 has been called Mumbai Village for at least the past five years and it is now. Perhaps Mumbai Spice House was an old name?

Hi skifans
Don't know if you've noticed but there was a massive dump by someone of Leeds Cc bins with very inaccurate locations. Usually one is closest to the site of a real bin so I drag it over. I expect these refer to some real bins somewhere nearby. The description can help with matching them.

Hi malcolmgc

Tagging access=no is like tagging a military area, rather than just a private field. access=private is the preferred tag.

Thanks for that. I approached West to East and didn't get as far as the wall before turning back up, but I believe you about the sign. The path is on the 1:10,560 map too from the 1950s/60s. There's a relatively new fence (older than 6 months) with a purpose made gap at osm.org/node/7813856165 which is odd.

Yeah I only moved here 5 years ago so don't have long local knowledge

Thanks. Well, unfortunately, I first went along that path in late August when I added it (in dim light the first time and with a spotty GPS hence "resurvey"), but having gone along it today it's a well worn path. I don't remember a private sign from my first visit (when I went over the wall. Today I tried to approach it from the other possibly non-existent path (although there's a hint of it at the Western end). There are no "Private" signs at the other ends - and at those ends there are genuine stiles and gaps in the fence (rather than fence torn down, etc).
Yes, it would be good to get these paths added (hadn't realised they weren't part of Chevin park to be honest) but I have no evidence of usage (apart from them looking well used). I might try contacting some local walking groups.

Did you tag the right path osm.org/way/841053062 ?
That path exists although the one below (north) is very difficult to find/follow osm.org/way/817341660

Hi. Just wondering why you added this turning circle where 3 paths meet osm.org/node/6979701511/history#map=17/53.86951/-1.69582 and why you added the paths in Nunroyd park as cycleways? Thanks

97650362 over 4 years ago

Hi malcolmgc. Thanks for your recent contributions. I was wondering if these should be footway instead of path with highway=sidewalk? osm.wiki/Sidewalks
Also, I found osmand couldn't route through it properly today as there weren't many road crossings - not sure how that would best be handled. e.g. no crossings from south side of Tennyson St to north side so it couldn't route up Bacon St

Building changes from Bing

48313054 over 4 years ago

Have been looking at this and think the culvert needs changing to run near straight down and join the eastern leg, and that the western leg is fed from Harrison Wood / Upcroft house. The eastern leg seems more visible on latest bing imagery. Did you hear the culvert when walking across, or just near the start? Thanks

Hi Mike
Thanks for these changes. A couple of things I noticed: Deepear I think is Deepcar, but I think more commonly known as Deipkier now, so would suggest name=Deipkier, alt_name=Deepcar. Also, there's a couple of "rips" where ways aren't connected: between
Meadow #149152650, Meadow #149152703 and Meadow #149152710 just west of Deipkier; and between Meadow #217124079 and Meadow #226358185 near Occupation Lane and Cross Lane. Cheers :)
