Promoting OpenStreetMap as a Leisure Class Activity | I need to work on my “Why I Edit OSM” diary entry. I agree with you, though. I edit OSM because it gives me a satisfactory feeling that I imagine other people get by completing a puzzle. It’s an added benefit that my hobby also powers some neat projects ranging from privacy-focused navigation, art pieces, and humanitarian efforts. Another comment I frequently make: editing OSM is a separate hobby from using OSM. I’m much more consistent in my editing of OSM than I am to my loyalty to OSM-based map apps. |

Working on Open Street Map's Timelines | There’s also an RSS feed for edits: |

The Path That Went Viral | @Le_Sharkoïste agreed! But it’s fun to see OSM edits appreciated either way! |

Strava Workouts Make OpenStreetMap Stronger | Oh, I did notice sometimes once logged in I still need to go to the heatmap page: |

Strava Workouts Make OpenStreetMap Stronger | Although someone commented that they downloaded the latest firefox extension and it didn’t work. |

Strava Workouts Make OpenStreetMap Stronger | Hey Rostranimin! I’ve been using iD editor with this extension. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/id-strava-heatmap/ It looks like they may have fixed the JOSM extension for firefox, but are still pending a fix for Chrome: https://github.com/zekefarwell/josm-strava-heatmap/pull/20#issuecomment-2974883740 |

#MakeYourStayOSM! | Thanks for the write-up! I love trying to fit in some POI mapping when in an area that needs it. Although I haven’t tested OSM GO! I’ll have to check it out. Maybe I should start factoring in OSM data gaps when booking my holidays. ;) |

Strava Workouts Make OpenStreetMap Stronger | Thanks Chris! Let me know what your experience is! |

Strava Workouts Make OpenStreetMap Stronger | Frequently I generate notes! Although sometimes I skip depending on how likely I think a path is. osm.org/user/UrbanRoaming/notes It seems some people are more confident than me and just apply the update remotely. Although hopefully people will see them when using StreetComplete or similar programs. |
