Novam update

Publicat per Xoff el 30 Novembre 2009 en English.

I've updated the Novam (http://mappa-mercia.org/novam) today. The main new feature is the search box which allows you to conveniently locate your area on the map. When I discovered Nominatim (http://nominatim.openstreetmap.de/) last week, I was intrigued by it and decided immediately to add support for it to Novam.

Other changes in the new Novam version are:

* OSM node id and version of each bus stop is now displayed.
* A link to the OSM node history has been added to the stop viewer.
* The permalink now also includes the currently selected stop.

Using Nominatim is a neat idea, my only complaint is that it steals precious vertical space from the map div. Many laptops have widescreens, but with little height to the screen, so it would be best to maximise the height for the map, maybe make a search that can be hidden, or use a smaller font in the side bar and add it to that.

@Pink Duck: Thanks for correcting the link.

@chillly: I didn't really think about small screen heights. Thanks for pointing this out. I'll change the search so that it can be hidden. The side bar is already quite full when I reduce the height of the browser window to 800 pixels so the search does not really fit in there.
