What I meant to say is that most of the paths are not definitive and depend on which satellite image is available at which time.
I just checked and it was probably based on satellite imagery from Bing Maps when I edited it.
(When I'm not sure, I refer to satellite imagery from Esri, Google Maps, Yandex Maps, etc. for verification).
So, like I said, I think a lot of the routes around there are fairly arbitrary and will never be definitive, which means that if you or anyone else has more up-to-date information or is more confident, they can make edits.
It also means that it would be nice to have a way of tagging the properties of paths that are not set in stone, that come and go, and that change shape from time to time.

Additionally, the area you pointed out was at least 5 years ago, and the area further south - around the new bridge - was only explored in recent months.

When I was there, it was already five years ago and it was the dry season, so the rice fields were not cleared, and when the rice fields are not cleared, the paths appear and disappear randomly.
So it's a random environment, and I've been trying to find a good way to tag the paths there, but I haven't found a good way (that's why I used the 'informal' key, which I think is the closest I can come).
Even now, with the exception of some farm roads, the remaining routes are random and likely don't exist in reality.
(I still question the point of drawing routes based on satellite imagery in this situation; I'd be happy if you could discuss this openly).
