Stonebridge City Farm, Nottingham

Skrevet af alexkemp den 27 marts 2019 på English Sidst opdateret den 22 juni 2022.

The last bit of Stonebridge Park was mapped yesterday. The City Farm is NOT part of that district but I took the opportunity to walk some of the paths & take some pictures so that you could go “Ooh look! Middle-aged horses close to some houses!”.

blurred-out sheep Notice how that sheep on the left has it’s face blurred. Google deploys AI (Artificial Intelligence) to blur faces & car registration plates but Mapillary goes one step better & deploys AS (Artificial Stupidity) (see 92% of all Mapillary Blurs are wrong). I informed Mapillary of the problem in January and have used their appalling blur-editor on all 6,400 photos that I’ve uploaded. They have yet to acknowledge or act upon a single edit.

This is the Cafe, Shop & Office area. I can recommend the Mutton Curry:

Update 22 June 2022

Mapillary has changed it’s download URLs & therefore all links within my diaries that use photos stored in Mapillary are broken. I’m slowly going through to update them. The new URLs are terrifyingly long, but show OK on my screen (and I also hope on yours).

Oh dear…the duck faces have not been blurred. They will complain. Naughty!
