Hi Peter, there seem to be two passes called Manali Pass on OSM, very close to each other. The one that is not marked by you is shown on Survey. Can you confirm which one is correct?

I think it would be better if you download these passes as KML or GPX file and use them offline later and not enter them in OSM. OSM needs to be repo of actual passes or places.

Could be, yes, but to be consistent, they should be on the saddle, right? Also, olizane could be wrong, therefore makes sense to map only passes that indeed were crossed by the mapper....

We were recently on the Patlasu circuit track and didn't find a route from the peak with elevation 4210 m on OSM to the marked Patalsu peak 4230. Do you know or remember how doable or difficult was this?

Hi Peter, Netuke La doesn't appear to be a saddle if I see on openTopo layer. Are you sure about it?

To make the changeset comment clear: All the mapped ways were marked highway=unclassfied and had no/empty "name" field.

In "DOCM Heap no. 9", by heap do you mean spoil heap as mentioned here? osm.wiki/Tag:man_made%3Dspoil_heap. If so, there is a specific key value for this type of POI

Could you share what source you were using to name the glaciers and rivers? According to my source (1977 maps by kiyoshi yoshida, camp called Nanda Devi), what is marked as Sundardunga is Sukhram Gad.

Are you sure about the peak name? On the survey map, I see the name Kedarnath.
