Ground Zero of ARPANet, Grandfather of the Internet (OSM's Platform)

Last updated on 25 May 2019.I spent a couple of weeks in Rosslyn, Virginia, on vacation, and stumbled across a sign identifying the site of the building where the U.S. Defense Department’s Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) invented the network and first attendant protocols, ARPANet, that are today known as the Internet. I photographed the sign and uploaded it to Mapillary, which for some reason has placed it incorrectly (I’m trying to move it to the correct location but Mapillary advises it “may take some time.”)
Can anybody tell me what the binary code on the back of the sign means?

It’s hexadecimal in binary form.
Break the bits into bunches of 8:
01000001 01010010 01010000 01000001 01001110 01000101 01010100
Break each byte into two 4-bit parts (nibbles), then each nibble into decimal.
01000001 = 0100 0001 = 4 1 = 41
Look up the decimal in a hexadecimal table. eg https://www.rapidtables.com/convert/number/hex-to-ascii.html
The resulting word is “ARPANET”.
