I've just added my last track from my trip to Peru - a looped footpath walk from Pisac around the ruins and back to Pisac. The walk had an altitude difference of 1500ft so it was quite a walk.

I've finished adding the railway line from Cusco to Machu Picchu in Peru. There are a few gaps in it where my GPS lost signal due to the Andes and where there is no aerial photography to trace the gaps.

I've also added the west to east traced for the zig zag road up to Machu Picchu (I was say on one side of the bus and only had a signal in one direction).

And finally I've added the footpath the by-passes the zig zag road. I've only added the top of the path which was the bit we walked down when geocaching (we didn't find the cache but from the spoiler that the owner sent me I must have had my hand within an inch of it - we would have been first to find too).

Looking forward to Thursday now to see my work rendered by Mapnik.

Just back from celebrating my 40th in Peru. I made 3 traces while there -

Cusco to Machu Picchu by train
A loop from Cusco to the Sacred Valley and back
A walking route around the ruins at Pisac

I've started to add the train route to Machu Picchu - this is an interesting route because the train goes through points into a dead end and then the points are switched and the train goes on to climb up the hill.
