Please refer to osm.wiki/Key:surface when adding surface tags. The hard concrete made with bitumen is tagged as surface=asphalt, not surface=dirt. And the improved surface produced by compacting gravels and sands is tagged as surface=compacted or surface=fine_gravel, not surface=dirt.

Hi,
I'm extremely confused by these edits. What do you mean by these names? Are they really named that by the residents? They're very technical sounding. And why did you tag every node with `ele=0.0`? This is clearly not sea level.

Hi,
When did the speed limit change on this stretch? I haven't driven the uphill direction, but I know that downhill the speed limit was still 60 mph as recently as July.

Hi, welcome to OpenStreetMap,
I see that you added the name "Private Trail Access", and in the changeset comment you wrote that you added the name in an attempt to remove labeling of something else. This appears to run afoul of the no-descriptive-name policy as described at osm.wiki/Names#Names_are_not_for_descriptions. Can you assert that this trail is actually named "Private Trail Access" in a way that can be verified independently?

Hi, welcome to OpenStreetMap. I reverted your edit because you didn't create a POI for your business; you renamed the section of street after yourself. The correct way to add your business to the map is to
1) Press the point button
2) Click where your office is
3) Select law office in the side bar on the left
4) Add your business's information in the side bar on the left, being sure to have the correct formats for the fields
5) Save the change

Sorry, this wasn't a programmatic edit, somehow that account got logged in for this edit even though I was using my main account for the rest of the day.

Hi,
In this edit you deleted a Suburu dealership and a Wendy's and their addresses and replaced them with new building ways. Accidents like this are why it is _strongly_ encouraged that ways be modified, not deleted and recreated. Please see osm.wiki/Good_practice#Keep_the_history

Hi,
In this changeset you used the word "proposed", but you tagged these paths as normal footways. Are these trails real?

Hi, welcome to OpenStreetMap.
I see that you added roadways in this edit and called them residential roads. In OSM, a residential road is a street lined with residences, and these roads in the middle of the desert certainly don't qualify. They should be tagged as tracks. Please see osm.wiki/Key:highway#Roads for more information.

Hello,
I have told you before that when you are making a change to a way, you should modify the way, not delete it and create a new one. Because you ignored that advice, you deleted information that this is an Italian restaurant, and you disconnected the history. Also, #bte is not an informative changeset.

I'm reverting this changeset and 88898444 where you do the same thing to another building.

Hi,
In this edit you tagged a parking lot as costing 20 euros to use, but this is in the United States. Was this an error, or is the landowner just very eccentric? :)

Hi,
I see that you deleted a bunch of houses and addresses in this edit. Do you have evidence that they have been permanently demolished?

Ah, just saw your next edit where you fixed it. Sorry for the notification!

Hi,
Why did you add ref=NH 11 on North Main Street for a mile or so beyond exit 15? Was it rerouted recently and I'm having troubles finding the document saying so? And how does it get up to East Rochester now, if it was rerouted?

Ok, don't forget that "Purposeful removal or degradation of data that are known to be correct" is considered vandalism in OSM, so try not to do it again in the future.

Hi,
I saw in this changeset that you deleted driveways that exist in all available imagery layers that I could find. What was your source for this change?

Welcome to OpenStreetMap,

I have reverted this changeset because it made numerous tagging mistakes. I will list them here.
1) The addr:city value for St. George is "St. George", not "St George".
2) You changed the address to be on "E Tabernacle St". This has two things wrong with it. First, OSM has a rule that addresses ought not to be abbreviated, so it would be "East Tabernacle Street". Second, this point is at the corner of North Main Street and West Saint George Boulevard, so it cannot be on East Tabernacle Street, which is a block further south.
3) You changed the opening_hours tag to an improper format. Refer to the Wiki for how it should be formatted.
4) You changed the phone tag to an improper format. Refer to the Wiki for how it should be formatted.
5) The description tag is for objective details not captured in other tags, not a marketing blurb.

I assume you want to move the business that was located here to another location. These are the steps to do that:
1) Remove tags related to the business from the old location, leaving only the address, since the address is still valid.
2) Create a new point where the new location is, and add tags relevant to the business at that new point. If the business is replacing a tenant that is already mapped, the tags for that old business should be removed.

Hi, I see that you requested review of this edit. In it you attached a residential road to the nearby landuse and tagged the surface as asphalt. Connecting roads to landuse is not recommended. Also when reviewing TIGER data, one should check if there should be a name on the road. If you had checked the "TIGER Roads 2019" option in the editor, you would have seen that the name of the road is West 4450 North. Adding the correct surface tag to the road was good.
Thank you for your contributions, and happy mapping!

This creek is named after a local pioneer named John P. Brown, not the famous abolitionist. Please check local sources. This page took less than 2 minutes to find: http://genealogytrails.com/colo/mesa/bio.html

This road is named after the canyon, not a person. When it's a common name, be sure to check local sources.
