I’m from an English-speaking country and update the map at home in Fujimi, Saitama and while I’m out and about hiking or walking around town. I use JOSM with the areaselector plugin and the GSImaps/pale imagery which gives the best results for adding buildings quickly. When I’m out and about I like using Every Door and StreetComplete. Every Door is especially nice to add vending machines with their brands.
