OpenStreetMap
Avui he continuat el meu procés d'aprenentatge d'OSM. He provat el GIS específic per a OSM JOSM i m'ha agradat força, encara que a nivell d'usabilitat pot millorar molt. En aquest sentit, el Potlatch 2 és molt millor, encara que sigui molt més limitat. El millor de JOSM és que permet veure fonts de dades WMS, és a dir, fotos aèries, dades del cadastre, etc., que ajuden molt a fer mapes.
He aconseguit veure el cadastre, el qual m'ha confirmat que la feina que he fet fins ara, a base de fer traces amb el GPS de l'iPhone, està bastant bé! Me n'alegro.
El que no he trobat és cap font d'imatges de satèl·lit per Catalunya. M'aniria molt bé per a completar ràpidament l'Ametlla de Mar, que és el meu objectiu ara. A part dels carrers, cal que millori molt la línia de costa, que no està gaire bé. Algú té alguna idea?
També he vist que hi ha un plugin d'OSM per a QGis. Està molt bé, ja que aquest és el programa que uso a la feina, encara que només ho faci esporàdicament.
En resum, avui he vist que hi ha eines força potents que em poden ajudar molt a aconseguir els meus objectius de cartògraf afeccionat. :-)

bing (available in standard install of josm) has high definition orthophotos of many regions (including Catalunya), but Ametlla de Mar is indeed missing....
osm.wiki/Spain_Potential_Datasources is a listing of the Spanish OSM community and I suppose that the IDEE/PNOA WMS should be helpful for Ametlla (though I did not test myself)
BTW, WMS layers can also be used in Potlatch, however I am no expert in that and you should look in the wiki for instructions.

Hi, thanks for the info. I've already checked this wiki page and started to play with JOSM. I could load some useful data, even though it would be better to have the orthopotos within Potlatch. I prefer Potlatch, as it is very simple and efective. But I didn't have much time.
