Hello, it appears you have deleted some established tracks with this edit. I have added them back as I noticed this morning after riding them last evening. If you check the GPS tracks you'll notice this is a well established off-road tack used quite often.

It would be helpful to understand why a line is being used for such a large area that does not directly correspond to a sand area. The line isn't closed and it only partially delineates the broad area of sand in the area, mostly southern Qatar. Every other sand field is denoted by an area polygon labeled as sand.

The Caspian Sea has been receding for many decades. The cycling community in Atyrau has been exploring tracks to see the shoreline and have been unable to reach it with all attempts using the previous map. I have modified the shoreline to reflect the known areas within the old polygon that the sea does NOT exist nor has it for decades by evidence of farming and established roads, even on old satellite photos.
