Ich entscheide also durchaus situationsabhängig.

Du musst also gar kein Telegram-Account haben.

Hey,
did you mean wikidata=Q7864927 for osm.org/way/824380390?
CamelCaseNick

87733835 about 5 years ago

Hey,
at Comisaría Morón 2° you added a ) in the Wikidata id.
May I recommend to use operator:wikidata=Q4985546 on these police stations instead of wikidata=Q4985546?

Hey,
while wikipedia=* is only for exact matches between the article and the OSM element, url=* is pretty generic (and nearly 4 out of 5 usages come from imports, see https://taghistory.raifer.tech/#***/url/), so if possible, I had used another tag.
Could subject:wikipedia=* work here or is url=* really the only option?

Hola,
wikipedia=* está pensada para enlaces a Wikipedia. Para las descripciones está description=*.

Hey,
the Aldi should have been a brand:wikidata=Q41171373, right? (It is Aldi Nord in Belgium?)

Hey,
why did you add wikidata=5 to osm.org/way/40388765? What do you mean with it?
CamelCaseNick

87317401 about 5 years ago

Hey,
Wikipedia has no article Achiwuib. Is en:Achiwib and the corresponding Q4673804 not about this place? Those seem to match.
(And the link at name:source here does not mention Achiwuib.)

Hallo,
CamelCaseNick

83222428 about 5 years ago

Hey,
your Wikipedia tag at osm.org/node/7377402573 does not have a language in it and seems not to be about en:Vargem or any municipality linked from pt:Vargem. What is it?

Hallo,
CamelCaseNick

86678986 about 5 years ago

Hey,

86694315 about 5 years ago

Hey,
you've added wikidata=Q287684g at osm.org/node/2016804222, osm.org/node/7624445578 and osm.org/node/2016804203.
I assumed you meant wikidata=Q287684 as it is close and the Wikidata item seems to match. I have changed it in osm.org/changeset/86941341.

86839498 about 5 years ago

Hey,

Ficus benghalensis is a taxon of type species. So there is no reason to add "taxon"="not known". What did you want to say with it? (You could add species:wikidata=Q1405636 to it, though.)

What's your source for the population? You added "source"="own observation". I doubt that.

> I can't understand what problem with this please inform me in details why the bug is showing there

What was the error message? Had it to do with your Wikipedia and Wikidata tag? They should link to a Wikipedia article and a Wikidata item respectively. I couldn't find them, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

For now population and postal code are fixed. Thank You!

You wanted to share a screenshot? Sorry, for that you would need an image hosting service, as it is not possible in this changeset comments.

But don't hesitate to ask questions and map yourself.

And maybe you find a way to contact the community at https://openstreetmap.community/.

85854894 about 5 years ago

So, yes, now “Blackfoot Alberta T0B0L0” and “Blackfoot Alberta T0B0L0” work on OSM search.

85854894 about 5 years ago

Hmm... What you describe is odd. Using the OpenStreetMap internal search, I find Blackfoot with

* Blackfoot Alberta
* Blackfoot, Alberta
* Blackfoot
* Blackfoot Alberta T0B0L0
* Blackfoot County of Vermilion River
* Blackfoot, County of Vermilion River
* Blackfoot, County of Vermilion River, Alberta

just not with Blackfoot Alberta T0B0L0.

What was missing indeed was the postal_code=T0B0L0 tag. I have added it now in osm.org/changeset/86917072. I hope to see that to solve this issue with the postal code.

I have checked whether Google Maps finds it, but of course, I cannot copy Google Maps. (And I don't need to as a resident there, you know it, right?)

> Nobody uses Hamlet for postage nor the signage.

It's just a classification. It's the place type as Blackfoot is a hamlet in Alberta. It is not showing up as “hamlet” on any map.

> The aerial view is from over 15 years ago.

That's unfortunate as it's the best and most accurate way to trace buildings. Have you checked every available aerial imagery in the editor (you used the standard editor iD: on the right, you would find a tab to change the background)?

> It's a bigger area.

You are talking about the residential area osm.org/way/310296966? Sorry, with outdated imagery, I cannot help you remote. Maybe you could walk around it and trace your why with GPS and upload a GPX file to then fix it?

For all the things you miss on the map: Buildings, businesses, restaurants, supermarkets, whatever it is: Feel free to add it. The editor standard iD you used has some great presets.

Hey,
is osm.org/way/808028681 supposed to be the school, you added with osm.org/node/7556083734? There is no need for a node and a way. Just add the amenity=school and the name= tag to the way.

Therefore, for osm.org/way/213497168 there is also no need for osm.org/node/7556068634.

And osm.org/node/7562215772 a duplicate of osm.org/way/212500740?
