Access is still open from Bath Road at the traffic light. No idea why this is being blocked, but it's been this way for likely at least a year? |

According to the city's transportation services: "In the approval process for the Cataraqui Estates Business Park, the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) stipulated that the intersection of Centennial Drive and Gardiners Road must be upgraded prior to opening the extension of Centennial Drive. The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) has approval authority given the proximity to Hwy 401. The design of the Gardiners and Centennial intersection is underway and pending design completion and appropriate approvals the construction is anticipated to begin in 2022.Once the intersection work is completed the City will be able to open this section of Centennial Drive that connects the Cataraqui Estates Business Park to Gardiners Road to vehicles." ...so I've marked this as a closed gate for now, but what's actually there are "Jersey wall"-style temporary construction barriers. Most annoying. |
