159187829 | 8 months ago | Hello, We discovered through hiking websites utilizing OpenStreetMap as their base that these "trails" are not being curated and simply appear as viable options for those recreating in the area. The unsanctioned trails in this section are within the boundaries of Phase 1 Development of Three Sisters Village. This area is currently under construction therefore these trails no longer exist. TSV phase 1 is a comprehensive development with 42% open space and an extensive pathway network. Once construction is completed we're happy to update the maps with the newly constructed multi-use trail system and mountain bike trails. Our utmost priority is the safety of the public which is why we've undertaken editing to ensure people are aware of the construction zone and where they can safely travel |
159181558 | 8 months ago | Hello, for the abandoned golf cart tracks, we can alter the user to private however as construction progresses these pathways will be removed. Our clients TSMVPLs preference is that any unsanctioned trail be removed so as not to wrongly convey to the public that there are public trails within the site for use especially as the area to the west side of the creek is a construction site. There is signage up for all sanctioned paths and common entries onto the parcel. |
159181558 | 9 months ago | The deletions were intentional. This parcel is the private property of TSMVPL and only the sanctioned trails - Loki's Lowline Trail and the Powerline Trail are permitted to be used by the public. Additionally there is only 2 crossings over three sisters creek one at the debris pond and one north by the tip of Casale Place. All trails within Three Sisters Village are closed west of Three Sisters Creek due to construction. |
