86107244 | about 5 years ago | Please be more careful when you are editing tags for existing roads. You changed part of SR 66 to service when it should be secondary. |
86753360 | about 5 years ago | This ramp that you added was removed several years ago when this interchange was rebuilt. I am going to remove this ramp. |
86599717 | about 5 years ago | The section of US 35 that you tagged as motorway should really be tagged as trunk because it has at-grade intersections. Motorway=freeway in the US, (i.e. fully grade-separated and divided road) whereas the highway=trunk tag is typically used for divided highways with at-grade intersections. I've fixed this already, but please keep this in mind in the future. Thanks! |
86731746 | about 5 years ago | Again welcome! I'd like to add that none of the roads you tagged as primary should be primary. Only major roads (e.g. major state highways and US highways as well as major arterials) should be tagged as primary. Please change them back to how they were before. |
65057897 | about 5 years ago | Is this road still closed? |
85318677 | about 5 years ago | Still don't understand the inconsistency here. How about we just be more consistent and tag any road that's divided and has 2 consecutive interchanges (Lake Hefner Parkway has 7 1/2 from the northern end of the freeway and the I-44 interchange)? You know, like standard practice. :) |
85318677 | about 5 years ago | Also, why are you so bent out of shape over this freeway being tagged as motorway when US 77 just east of here is tagged as motorway even though the freeway section extending north of the Kilpatrick Turnpike is shorter than that of Lake Hefner Pkwy? |
85318677 | about 5 years ago | >I, and the FHWA, disagree that freeways can terminate at an at-grade intersection. Really? I'd love to see a link from FHWA's website. Also, if that's true, than how come 3dis are a thing? There are many freeways around the US that terminate at at-grade intersections. Examples just from my neck of the woods include WA 509 north of the 1st Avenue S. Bridge, WA 167 at both ends of the freeway section, the western terminus of I-90, US 12 west of Yakima, and many 3dis (including I-705, which is actually shorter than this particular freeway. You still haven't provided me a link to a talk-us discussion indicating that your method of tagging has consensus around the OSM community. If not, this needs to be discussed there. |
85318677 | about 5 years ago | How is this an expressway? Anyone driving on this road south from 164th would be like "this looks like a freeway to me." (Note that I'm not the one who tagged this as a motorway; I just tagged the ramps as motorway link to match everything else) If we applied your rule of "freeways should be tagged as trunk if they end at a surface street on one end" across the board, then just about every 3-digit interstate would have to be tagged as a trunk (even those ridiculously short ones in MT). So, per standard practice, this should be tagged as a motorway all the way to 164th. |
85234993 | about 5 years ago | Nope, that's not standard practice in OSM in the US, that's just your personal opinion. I haven't seen anyone else besides you insist on tagging this way. There are many 3-digit interstates shorter than this freeway that are tagged as a motorway; by your logic these would all have to be trunk. Please provide some proof (e.g. talk-us discussion, wiki page) indicating that there is consensus for your way of doing things. |
81664797 | about 5 years ago | Perhaps you should switch to an editor that doesn't do this. Nothing wrong with using iD. I've never heard of this GoMap editor that it appears you're using. Also, tbh I've never really been a fan of having ramps tagged as motorway instead of motorway link just because they happen to have a route number on them. You really should discuss this on the talk-us mailing list before continuing to re-tag roads in this manner. |
83413015 | about 5 years ago | You also deleted the name of this road. You really need to be more careful about this when you make edits to OSM. |
83413015 | about 5 years ago | Also I think you broke the intersection with 85th and 132nd. I'm going to fix that, but please make this road divided again. |
83413015 | about 5 years ago | Yes, please revert this edit. There was a reason why this road was dual carriageway because it shows that you can't cross the median. This is very important for proper routing because you don't want people to be directed to turn left across the median when this is physically impossible to do. Again, please change this back to how it was before. Thanks! |
81664797 | over 5 years ago | Please stop removing oneway=yes tags from motorways. I have told you not to do this in the past yet you continue to do it. |
83756170 | over 5 years ago | I think it's a bit of a stretch to consider Mukilteo Speedway a trunk road as there are too many driveways and intersections and though it's divided, it's more like a typical urban arterial than an expressway with at grade intersections. I agree with having that part of SR 526 and Paine Field Blvd marked as trunk, but not Mukilteo Speedway, so I'm going to change that back to primary. |
82867103 | over 5 years ago | It looks like you moved the boundary of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest by mistake when you made this edit. Can you please fix it? Thanks! |
73983467 | over 5 years ago | Deleting, as this user has provided no evidence that this state highway exists (despite having 6+ months to do so). |
80877747 | over 5 years ago | Please do not tag a road as motorway unless it's actually a freeway. |
77752004 | over 5 years ago | Please stop removing the oneway tags from motorways. |
