Why can't I delete my own diary entries?

Vum compdude matgedeelt de(n) 10. Juni 2010 op English.

I accidentally posted a bunch of diary entries that were all the same. But when I tried to figure out how to delete them, I found no delete button. I'm very infuriated that there's no way to delete my own diary entry. Why is this?

Is there a way to delete it that I'm not seeing? If so, could someone PLEASE tell me how?

Thanks

You can edit your old diary entries, maybe even the whole text.

Currently deletion is only available to administrators, but we probably should allow people to delete their own posts as well.

It also isn't really deletion - it just hides the post so it isn't shown.

I've hidden your duplicates now anyway.

Hm, don't you worry, your posts will sink into oblivion very soon...
To me the blogs are something I look into from time to time, I don't even read all of them. It is a very casual way of informing the world about your recent OSM stuff. Nothing to be remembered forever.
