Why drawing roads using NPE is dangerous

Now, as far as I remember from driving that road weekly for most of a year, and not getting my feet wet, I'm guessing the lake was done from Landsat, and the road from NPE. The lake is a reservoir that's been there since 1976, according to Wikipedia. What's weird, is that the road was drawn in AFTER the lake. It obviously never occurred to the original road creator to check what the area he was drawing across actually was.... :-)
I've used Landsat and memory to reroute the road around the lake - map will update on Wednesday so this post will make little sense afterwards...

Stafford

Been looking at tidying up bits of Stafford, where I have friends. Haven't been back since I started mapping, but found GPX trails which nobodies done anything with - have made ways with these/NPE/local knowledge. Hope I haven't trodden on anyones toes. Also found some odd glitches - looks like user:Selispix made lots of nodes, but no segments/ways connecting them. Have started correcting these.

Poland

Just got back from a week staying with friends in Bydgoscsz, Poland, which is currently very bare on the map. Managed to get GPS tracks of the railway to Gdansk, along with some of the major routes around the area, in addition to a little city centre mapping. Will be experimenting with geotagged photos as notetakers for names etc. Have started uploading changes already.
