This bridge is a major connector for bicycle and foot traffic between Brentwood, Saanichton (to the W) and the Lochside Trail and Sidney (to the E). Yet suggested bike routes do not yet include it, and instead map a cumbersome detour.

This is not a cycleway. A sign westbound (down to Goose) says cyclists must dismount. Didn't see a corresponding sign eastbound. (Up to Gorge Road)

This is a easily navigable shortcut to get from the Galloping Goose to Alpha Street, and is ignored in the Bosch Flow App

I don't think this really fits OSM's definitions of a Living Street. I suspect that is more what Government Street is. This street doesn't purport to allow people to walk anywhere they want - it has crosswalks, dedicated car parking, etc.

Kings road is not a "Living Street." A "living street" is something closer to a Woonerf; this only has traffic calming but is still a vehicles-have-priority street.

I would recommend marking this bike route up Palo Alto to Midgard, because that route is less hilly than riding through Horner park which has a large depression - the parking lot entrance to Horner is also gravel and this route requires more turns. You are also more likely to have a conflict with pedestrians in Horner Park than to run into traffic along Palo Alto. Sources: personal experience.

As far as I can tell this short leg from Broadmead to Midgard is an unofficial bike route anyways. The map for Saanich's UVic Bike Connector ends at St Aidan's Street, so it's up to maintainers to decide where this connection should go.

A multi-use path was under construction to the silver bridge. Is it completed?

This trail appears to now be a paved multi-use trail - can someone please survey and confirm?

Construction here, I removed the buildings that no longer exist. Will need a site visit for updates at some point
