I am living partly in Regensburg and Burglengenfeld and do mapping in both cities. Mostly on (and also off) the road with my mountainbike but also while jogging. Having started with an old Garmin GPS 76 which was originally used for sailing i recently switched to a smaller and thus more portable Holux M241. Meanwhile i started using OSM via Trekbuddy and Apemap on my mobilephone in combination with my Holux receiver. This is perfect when you are mountainbiking in unknown terrain. Other Software I use is Routeconverter. My Routes are to be found on bikemap.net and gpsies.com.
