There were Bugs in the map.
And in that place are a few remaining Bugs left like self intersecting ways, crossing lines and so on. Are you going to fix these?

Hi woodpeck,

tried to check what i did.
Looks like i tried to make something completely wrong, "less wrong".
I assumed some good faith in the data (as local knowledge or something mysterious...) and tried to fix missing intersections, overlaps, self intersecting highways, ...
In doing this i must have splitted ways or something that created new ways.
I would never just add fantasy stuff.
Just tried to make fantasy look better... and certainly failed.

Will reflect that. Lessons learned.

Interresting is that josm validator does not complain.

Checked some examples in germany (like
osm.org/go/0JEK9si_Y- ):
Intersections are connected there.

Wiki says nothing about it.

I think it feels right to make an intersections node even josm does not complain.

there were lots of duplicate nodes/overlapping was. And there were also dupe streets in there. So this edit is just a cleanup. Anything wrong or missing? Think i hit too much?

Is there any reason for a explicit motor_vehicle=yes for a highway=secondary?

Is there a situation where a motor_vehicle=no on a highway=secondary makes sense?

Both points where on exact same location causing keep right to generate an error (very sharp angle i think). Also both points did not enhance geometry of the underlying way. Cant find any harm done with this changeset. Hope its OK. If there is something i overlooked i can revert it if you want.
