SP Metropolian area approaching 100%
Posted by diogow on 15 August 2009 in English. Last updated on 21 August 2009.Well, it's been a long way, but the metropolitan area of Sao Paulo (~234 sq km) is nearing completion. This doesn't mean that the street names are there as well, but at least the traces are there. Several mapping parties will be required to gather the street names and directions of the ways, but at least some good progress has been completed.

Congratulations Diogo, lets hope it is easier to reqruite new mappers in SP when all they need to do is correct names and annotations.

Actually, the SP metro (Sampa) is closer to ~234 sq km (corrected).
Thanks for the incentives, Skippern. I'm considering printing one of those banners that you use in Europe, but I need to translate it and pay for it. I'm more inclined to making one of those OSM vests that you see around in some of the mapper's pictures.
