If you set the location someone might be able to help or give advice.

what tags have you been adding to the roads?

Where it happened?
You can check history from daily diffs and found who is "guilty".

If you go to the area in question in Potlatch, and press 'U' for undelete, you'll see the deleted ways appear again.

You can then press 'H' for history, and a list of who edited it, when, will appear. From this you can find out who deleted it.

Let us know who or where and we can help more.

(Sorry, I should have said: Select one, then you can press 'H' for history...)

Example location, and I've put this road in twice now, so it should be in the system some where.

England, Cumbria, Locate "Port Carlisle" (Its to the west of Carlisle on the coast). The Unclassified road that leads to "Port Carlisle" from the east does infact continue past "Port Carlisle" round the coast through Bowness-on-Solway, round past the airfield (which has massive radio masts and only one of my 3 GPS units could get a signal), and on to Anthorn.

osm.org/edit?lat=54.9499&lon=-3.1944&zoom=14 shows it's there ok - is that not what you're seeing? It should hopefully show up on the map when it's rerendered this week, I'd think.

Seems to be rendered now. osm.org/?lat=54.9499&lon=-3.1944&zoom=14&layers=B000FTF Updates are done each Wednesday/Thursday to the main map.
