55975390 | gần 7 năm trước | @YourVillageMaps: I'm still confused as to why you traced these streets from Digital Globe vs. adding them from the City and County of Denver street centerlines? |
55975390 | gần 7 năm trước | Hi. The 'N' is a standard in the City and County of Denver data and is becoming important for geocoding purposes. These particular edits went through a few uploads/deletes/uploads as the first time I uploaded them through JOSM they were flagged as not appropriate for OSM. However, I've been in touch with several OSM folks in the Denver area and have decided to leave these here. I believe its important for cartographic as well as routing purposes to have these new roads added to OSM, but as of yet, have not had the proper guidance to add new roads from the City and County of Denver where Bing Imagery doesn't have them (and cannot be traced). Any thoughts are welcome! -MB |

55980645 | hơn 7 năm trước | Hi there. The data I uploaded through Potlatch is from the City and County of Denver, and represents my 3rd attempted method of batch adding data to OSM -which seems to also have failed. osm2shp does not seem to work at all, and doesn't have enough documentation to build the mapping file; JOSM doesn't have the ability - that I have found - to add roads in batch, and the ID editor doesn't have any imagery for these streets that I can trace. If you can recommend any other method I might try to get this data into OSM, I would like to use it. |
