Yes I was trying to add a speed limit, using the StreetComplete icon of a speed limit sign with an acceleration dial.

I chose "other answer" with there is no sign. Looking at it now again, I see an option to click a tick box with ?? as limit.

I'm sure I didn't choose that option. It that helps debugging things.

Ah, sorry. Wasn't aware (though I suppose I should have been).

I can re-add the description later. I eyeballed the street but there was no street sign.

Hmm, I don't remember adding the speed limit as "??".
From memory the steps I made were:
Click on speed limit icon
Used "other answer" option
Chose "no speed limit" or no speed limit sign
Answered yes to "are you sure"
Answered no to a question about if the lanes of the carriageway were physically separated.

There is no speed limit I can see on Globe Road. I cycled it last night and at 2 separate points Street Complete asked me for the speed.

Is it possible Street maps "mapped" my no speed limit answer (from the UI) to "??"?

I cycle that street regularly and can not remember seeing a sign.

What would you like to do? I won't be going passed there til Sunday/Monday at earliest.
