Taginfo show something I would really like, an easy access to documentation for a specific tag i.e. an editor can always look up "addr:country" and a short summary on what that tag is about.
So I made a short list of some tags that lacks the appropriate template in the wiki to get into taginfo, so adding this :{{KeyDescription|key=KEY_NAME|description=Describe KEY_NAME|lang=en}}" would make it show up in taginfo.
- addr:country
- wall
- 3dshapes:ggmodelk
- source_ref
- note:ja
- name:lb
- addr:city
- place_of_worship
- KSJ2:curve_id
- tiger:name_base
- tiger:name_type
- tiger:zip_left
I also was bothered by the lack of description on addr:* tags so I added the template to redirect pages. It works very well, but I don't like redirecting tags to a central key page, so for me the best idea would not to redirect them at all.
Of course I see the need to listing things in a big list like mapfeatures, but isn't that kind of "automatic" collection of facts done better on specialized pages like a layouted PDF, HTML or something else.
So this is a call for better and easier to access documentation.
UPDATE added template to attribution

The aggregation of small bits into a larger page can be done by page transclusion, if that is supported by the mediawiki version implemented here. Also, could use section headers and direct to #-tagged sections via redirect.

One thing to consider in this space is better discrimination among keys and tags which have passed through the proposal-voting-acceptance procedure vs. those which are widely used and have not gone through the procedure vs. those which have utility but are not widely used. I think it would be useful to have a color coded banner or icon associated with pages which indicate the status.

Well you are free to add categories that says "Category:Has been voted on","Category:Proposal and voting missing" to the tags in the wiki. I'm not quite sure what you mean so it's not something I can do for you.
