Working on the section from Birdlings Flat to Little River. We need a tag railway=railtrail. See if I can get my GPS trace loaded.
(I guess I can tag the trail part as railway=abandoned so it doesn't need a special tag for a railtrail)

I tag rail trails as highway=path (or highway=cycleway or highway=footway, depending on the trail) and railway=abandoned. Also, following some tagging I've seen NE2 do, I also add an old_railway_operator= tag when I know what company owned the railway when it was last in operation.
