60614453 | about 7 years ago | Hi meadowgreen. You can use man_made=yes for both of them if you're sure about it. For more information, see: osm.wiki/Key:man_made

61553829 | about 7 years ago | Hi Hervé, could you please check the street names for these POIs (atm, it is Nicolson Square, far away from here). Thanks. |
61724044 | about 7 years ago | Hi meadowgreen. According to the official website (https://www.edinburghmuseums.org.uk/venue/scott-monument) and Wikipedia as well, the name is "Scott Monument" without the "the". Could you please consider to review your edit and at the same time removed my previous wikipedia:en tag as you added a better version of it. Many thanks. Eric |
59517299 | about 7 years ago | Hi meadowgreen, I just removed the house number of the Greyfriars Kirk you added as there is no number associated to this building (only a postcode and a street name). I also changed its street name as well (Greyfriars place and not Greyfriars). |
49314587 | about 8 years ago | Hi Tom, are the roofs of these buildings flat? If not, roof:levels=1 and not 0. Cheers, Eric |
48683705 | over 8 years ago | Hi. As mapsperhaps didn't answer, I'm going to modify these features using their original tag, i.e. garden. I'll do the same as well for the changeset 48683784 as it's exactly the same case. Thanks Ginaro. |
48794018 | over 8 years ago | Just to let you know that you delete some useful information in link with this building, including the following tags: building:colour, building:levels, building:material, roof:levels, roof:material and roof:shape. FYI, these tags are used to create the 3D OSM aspects. See here for example: http://demo.f4map.com/#lat=55.9491776&lon=-3.2081174&zoom=19&camera.theta=66.772&camera.phi=124.045 Therefore, I'm going to revert your last edit here. Thanks for your understanding. |
46090418 | over 8 years ago | I just moved it to the correct location. |
46229955 | over 8 years ago | Thanks. I also removed the tags addr:city and addr:street for these buildings. |
45714170 | over 8 years ago | No problem (sorry to answer so late). |
45997945 | over 8 years ago | Thanks for your contributions.

45877792 | over 8 years ago | The name of this place is The Hebrides, not "The Doric". The latter is next door and already mapped. |
45857776 | over 8 years ago | Hi Tom, I amended this tree as Leyland cypress isn't its name but its species. I also updated the denotation. |
45624158 | over 8 years ago | Thanks GinaroZ. It has been corrected by another contributor here: osm.org/changeset/45714170
|
45714170 | over 8 years ago | Whitehouse Terrace being part of the north side of Grange Loan, I changed it into name:left as it was originally (i.e. before a contributor changed it into name:South Side). Thanks anyway to have spotted this error. |
42360857 | over 8 years ago | I finally had the chance to enter there last week and to take some pictures of all the buildings. It's now finally updated. |
44004961 | over 8 years ago | The name of this street is officially Grange Loan. If you check the list of the CEC public roads, you'll see that Whitehouse Terrace is defined as "Part of the north side of GRANGE LOAN from WHITEHOUSE LOAN
|
45563962 | over 8 years ago | I mapped the old police call box as a building (using the same tags that the other PCBs in Edinburgh). I also mapped what you called triangle as a landuse=grass. |
45396208 | over 8 years ago | Would it not be better to map these Community Gardens as an area, as they would be visible and the name would appear on the map. |
41307096 | about 9 years ago | Thanks Donald. I thought it was ok to add them already as buildings because their construction is going to start very soon (less than a month) and because the area is tagged as landuse=construction. But you're right, it's clearer the way you mapped it. Thanks. |
