exactly where is the path? unclear whether it passes through the gate, or through the field corner

Query these street names:
w36939082 is currently named "Pengenfford"
- incorrect spelling
- in any case that is the name of a village several miles south of here
w36939081 is called Westfields, but Google has it as Bowling Green Lane, and this way is much older than the modern residential street called "Westfields" to the NW of this point - unlikely the newer street has given its name to the older one, more likely the older one has a different name. OS Open is no help here, unfort, so #surveyme

From aerial this appears to be a path - or is it only a sheeptrack? #surveyme

not clear how or whether this path crosses the fence that runs along the track. path not clearly visible on aerial, but first added apparently from ground survey #surveyme

Old post office is demolished and wholly new house in its place

I think this passage no longer exists, if it ever did: entrance to Black Bull courtyard (if that's the name) is from Cheyne Len only, and from the W from the open mouth between the buildings.

Pretty sure the Black Bull has long gone, too - but needs a #surveyme
