added some industrial / commercial areas near Philippsburg / Huttenheim and mapped the Village of Rheinsheim almost completely - some POIs are still missing.

Perfect timing - doing a mapping tour to the village of Huttenheim (suburb of Philippsburg) today, i ran directly into the crowd celebrating the 250th anniversary of Huttenheim (and i thought first they're so happy because their nice village will soon appear on OSM ;-) ... ). On the way to Huttenheim, collected some OSBs (Openstreetbugs) in Liedolsheim.
Gestrigen Sonnenschein zu ausgiebiger Mapping-Tour genutzt, ein paar Hardtwald-Details und vor allem den Rest des Graben-Neudorfer Straßenbestandes erfaßt. Was den Bestand betrifft, sollte auch dieser Ort jetzt praktisch vollständig sein. Einige POIs fehlen noch (Sportplätze an der Jahnstraße zB).

Super Wetter heute, nicht zu warm und nicht zu kalt. Einige kleinere Wegen östlich von Leopoldshafen / Linkenheim-Hochstetten gemappt und mit Graben-Neudorf begonnen. Der süd-westliche Teil ist fertig, der Rest sollte demnächst folgen...

Stücker zweie, weil ich (zum Glück) mit zwei Loggern unterwegs war - der erste wurde leider mitten in Graben-Neudorf von der Kraft seiner Batterien verlassen...
Tour de Hardt (Schröck, Stutensee, Friedrichstal etc)
Posted by flschm on 10 ஆகஸ்ட் 2008 in English.Einige Ergänzungen: Leopoldshafen (Heimatmuseum, Rheinhalle, Sportplätze), neuer Kreisverkehr in Blankenloch, Schloss Stutensee, Friedrichstal). Friedrichstal sollte jetzt wirklich komplett sein.

In Eggenstein sind jetzt das Sportgelände des FC Alemannia, das Sportzentrum, das Schulzentrum und das Hallenbad besser erfasst, zudem der Eggensteiner Grillplatz.
Das neue Leopoldshafener Baugebiet "Viermorgen III" war bisher nur mit seinen Umrissen in OSM vertreten - jetzt sind die Straßen und Wege, soweit begehbar, aufgenommen. Strassennamen hab ich leider noch nciht verfügbar... Auch der im Bau befindliche Kreisverkehr an der Leopoldshafener Straße ist schon mal angelegt.
After Mapping the industrial area and the eastern part of Stutensee-Friedrichstal, this plce should be complete regarding the streets, now. Added as much POIs as possible, but surely some are still missing.
Nice weather today to continue mapping north of Karlsruhe - parts of Stutensee are still waiting to get completely mapped. So i started with the western part of Friedrichstal; this suburb should be almost complete now regarding the streets, POIs still need some work. Link to Track:

At the Village "Blankenloch" north of Karlsrueh, there were already some streets and cycleways mapped by previous mappers. Last saturday, i took my bike to map the remaining streets and collecting street names. So, now that village should be complete regarding the streets. Still only very few POIs are mapped, and some street names are missing, too.
In the Villages Stutensee-Büchig and Blankenloch north of Karlsruhe, some streets were already mapped, but mostly without name and correct type. Today i started in the south, completed Büchig and continued with the south-eastern part of Blankenloch. In Blankenloch still remains a lot to do, i hope tomorrow the weather will be as fine as today so i can continue with that village.
Yesterday another tour by bike to complete the village of Rußheim - again, bad GPS reception, so the data may be a little inaccurate. Now all villages north of Karlsruhe up to Rußheim are complete :-) - GPX-Track: osm.org/user/flschm/traces/82721
Yesterday a little bicycle ride to complete Rußheim / Dettenheim north of Karlsruhe. Experienced some GPS problems due to cloudy sky. Rußheim is mostly done now, only some streets are missing. Track: osm.org/user/flschm/traces/82310
Taking advantage of the extraordinarily warm weather this weekend, i started the first mapping tour by bike to add some small streets around Liedolsheim and Dettenheim (North of Karlsruhe) and continued with Rußheim.
Completed the streets of the village of Liedolsheim north of Karlsruhe. A lot of POIs are still missing. The L602 between Liedolsheim and Rußheim is complete, too. Next tasks are mapping Rußheim, adding POIs in Liedolsheim and mapping the small streets west and east of Linkenheim-Hochstetten, Liedolsheim and so on.
added some POIs in Hochstetten (cemetary, church, school, shops). couldn't continue to map Liedolsheim because of a bike break-down... :-(
added some natural:wood and lakes around Haguenau using the new high-resolution Yahoo sat images. The wood areas are still quite tentative, i will work over them soon
