OSM Maps conversion to Magellan Format possible?

Gibt es ein aktives Projekt, das eine Software entwickelt, mit der man OSM Karten für die Magellan GPS Geräte (Explorist) umwandeln kann?

Man kann Garminkarten in Magellankarten umwandeln.
Also OSM-Karte in Garmin konvertieren und dann ins Magellanformat.

direkt aus OSM ins Magellan Format gehts nicht, aber man kann zuerst eine für Garmin erstellen und diese anschließend ins Magellan Format konvertieren.
Karten von OSM kann man mit osm.wiki/index.php/Mkgmap ins Garmin Format bekommen.
Hier gibts einen Beitrag wie man die Karten im *.img (Garmin) Format auf den Magellan bekommt

Das ganze habe ich selbst schon ausprobiert und funktioniert.
Man muss nur aufpassen, wenn man einen Schwarz-Weiß Magellan hat, daß man im Mobile Mapper eventuell einige Farben der erstellten Karte ändert bzw. ein paar Areas wie z.B. Waldgebiete entfernt, da diese sonst als schwarze Flächen dargestellt werden und somit sieht man natürlich auch auf der Fläche keine Straßen.
