yeah, that track *used* to be passable by ski. i was maintaining those trails myself! but they drove bulldozers through there and made a road that broke my playground, so yeah, that needs an update.

yeah, it's kind of an informal thing. it's a "hotel" in the sense that the owner rents room, maybe a little more little more like an inn or a motel, but that's besides the point: she also rents cars, and it's one of the only place on all of haida gwai where you can *do* that at all. but it's not like she's got a garage with inspections and everything, it's pretty informal...

oh yeah, quite likely. basically, it's the place in town where you can rent a car...

sorry, i had all those changes piled up on my phone since july and only found the time to upload them now... i didn't realize it would ping many people... i'll try to keep the changesets region-specific next time, would that work better?
