Hier war ursprünglich eine Brücke, die im Rahmen von Bauarbeiten am Hauptkanal Sterkrade komplett gesperrt wurde.

Die Bauarbeiten an dieser Stelle sind beendet.
Hierbei wurde
=> der Hauptkanal Sterkrade ein Stück weiter als Tunnel geführt und kommt erst wenige Meter westlich der ehemaligen Brücke "zu Tage"
=> die Brücke durch eine reguläre Straße ersetzt
=> die Straßensperrung wieder komplett aufgehoben
