If you mean the tiles rendering, the CloudMade ones are at least 15 days behind the Database, but the OSM Foundation Mapnik is quite alright. I have no idea what is the cause of this.
osm.org/index.html - is that Mapnik? In that case that is what I mean. Since I started editing it has taken 1-5 hours to reflect changes, but since I got an "Internal Server Error 500" yesterday morning it doesn't seen to have taken any changes.
Click on the + sign on the right of the map. There you can switch the layers. Mapnik is the "official" OSM rendering. Earlier it was only updated once a week, recently it has become much faster (1-5 hours sounds alright).
CloudMade is a company founded by the OSM founder Steve. They got their own map at http://maps.cloudmade.com
The CloudMade maps are now a week out of date, and should be updated to today's data in the next day or two.
From a Wednesday morning through to Saturday the main mapnik layer will have a longer than usual delay due to the weekly planet import, and following catchup required.
I'm finding that the Mapnik layer on the homepage is being very slow to update at the moment. The NoName layer on the homepage hasn't been updated since the API change to v0.6. I understand they are working through some technical issues. The Osmarender layer seems to be updating at it's usual speed.
I am sorry Shaun, but CloudMades regular and style editor tiles (at least for my area) are more than 18 days behind the Database (now I checked the exact date I added the Autopista Nororiente motorway [April 25]: osm.org/?lat=-33.37138&lon=-70.61028&zoom=15&layers=B000FTF).
The OpenCycleMap and the Matt Amos Minutely Updated Tiles are updated.
Anyway I love the results I get from your Style Editor, it looks great! So I do not mind if the new tiles are available one friday or the next.

OSMTiles@Home seems to be picking the changes up, as seen at http://tools.geofabrik.de/mc/index.html (look at St Albans in the UK).
No idea what CloudMade is.
